জয ভগবতি দেবি নমো বরদে জয পাপবিনাশিনি বহুফলদে ।
জয শুম্ভ-নিশুম্ভ কপালধরে প্রণমামি তু দেবি নরার্তিহরে ॥ ১॥
Victory to You, O Goddess Bhagavati! Salutations to the bestower of boons. Victory to the destroyer of sins, the giver of abundant fruits. Victory to the one who holds the skulls of Shumbha and Nishumbha. I bow to You, O Goddess, the remover of human afflictions. (1)
জয চন্দ্রদিবাকর-নেত্রধরে জয পাবকভূষিতবক্ত্রবরে ।
জয ভৈরবদেহনিলীনপরে জয অন্ধকদৈত্যবিশোষকরে ॥ ২॥
Victory to You, whose eyes are the moon and the sun. Victory to the excellent one whose face is adorned with fire. Victory to the supreme one who resides in the body of Bhairava. Victory to the one who destroyed the demon Andhaka. (2)
জয মহিষবিমর্দিনিশূলকরে জয লোকসমস্তকপাপহরে ।
জয দেবি পিতামহবিষ্ণুনুতে জয ভাস্করশক্রশিরাঽবনতে ॥ ৩॥
Victory to the crusher of Mahishasura, holding a trident in hand. Victory to the remover of all sins of the entire world. Victory to the Goddess praised by Brahma (Pitamaha) and Vishnu. Victory to the one before whom the Sun (Bhaskara) and Indra (Shakra) bow their heads. (3)
জয ষণ্মুখ-সাযুধ-ঈশনুতে জয সাগরগামিনি শম্ভুনুতে ।
জয দুঃখ-দরিদ্র-বিনাশকরে জয পুত্রকল ত্রবিবৃদ্ধিকরে ॥ ৪॥
Victory to the one praised by Shanmukha (Kartikeya), the armed ones, and Isha (Shiva). Victory to the one who travels to the ocean, praised by Shambhu. Victory to the destroyer of sorrow and poverty. Victory to the one who increases children and family. (4)
জয দেবি সমস্তশরীরধরে জয নাকবিদর্শিনি দুঃখহরে ।
জয ব্যাধিবিনাশিনি মোক্ষকরে জয বাংছিতদাযিনি সিদ্ধিকরে ॥ ৫॥
Victory to the Goddess who assumes all forms. Victory to the one who reveals heaven and removes sorrow. Victory to the destroyer of diseases and the bestower of liberation. Victory to the giver of desired objects and the bestower of accomplishments (Siddhis). (5)
এতদ্ব্যাসকৃতং স্তোত্রং যঃ পঠেন্নিযতঃ শুচিঃ ।
গৃহে বা শুদ্ধভাবেন প্রীতা ভগবতী সদা ॥ ৬॥
Whoever reads this hymn composed by Sage Vyasa, remaining self-controlled and pure, or in their home with a pure heart, Goddess Bhagavati is always pleased with them. (6)
॥ ইতি ব্যাসকৃতং ভগবতীস্তোত্রং সম্পূর্ণম্ ॥
