(Durva Suktam in Odia)

From Mahanarayana Upanishad

Also known as sahasraparama devi satamula satankura sarvagm haratu

The Durva Suktam is a sacred Vedic hymn sourced from the Mahanarayana Upanishad, dedicated to the holy Durva grass, which is considered a manifestation of the Divine Mother. The text describes the grass as possessing thousand-fold roots and shoots, symbolizing infinite growth and resilience. Reciting this hymn is believed to cleanse the devotee of past sins, eliminate nightmares, and foster spiritual purification. By invoking the divine energy of the Earth, the chant seeks protection and abundance, ultimately connecting the practitioner with the life-giving, sustaining force of the primordial nature that supports all existence.
