(Durvasa Krit Shri Krishna Stotra in Gujarati)
Also known as durvasa krita krishna stotram · harivamsha krishna stotra · svastyastu bhavate krsna jagatam svasti sarvada
Five verses from the Harivamsha, and the interest of them is entirely in who is speaking. Durvasas, whose name is a byword for a temper that curses first, opens by wishing Krishna well and asking what could possibly be difficult for him; calls him lord of the three worlds, maker of creation and of its ending, and the one who looks on everything with an equal eye. Then the hymn turns, and the last two verses are an apology. Forgive what I have said, whether I said it out of ignorance or out of knowledge. And then the ground for asking: you are myself, lord of the world, there is no separation dividing the two of us — so forgive, since forbearance is what the good are made of. A short piece whose whole weight falls on its final word.
