(Konastha Pingalo Bhabru)

Also known as konasthah pingalo babhruh krsno raudro ntako

Shanaiswara (also spelled Shani or Śanaiścara) is one of the Navagrahas, the nine celestial beings in Vedic astrology, and represents the planet Saturn. Shani is deeply revered and sometimes feared in Hindu culture due to his influence on human life and destiny. His name, derives from the Sanskrit roots: "Shanaiḥ" – slow or gradual, referring to the slow orbit of Saturn; and "Ishwara" – Lord. He is associated with and presides over Saturday in the weekly cycle. This verse highlights the significance of chanting the ten names of Lord Shani after waking in the morning.
