ఋణమోచక మఙ్గల స్తోత్రమ్

A short list of Mars's names recited by people in debt, and the name it turns on is given in the first line: the taker-away of debt, immediately followed by the giver of wealth. The rest are the ordinary Mangala names — son of the earth, of firm seat and great body, obstructing no undertaking; red, and red-eyed; merciful to those who chant the Saman; Kuja and Bhauma and Angaraka, and Yama, and the remover of every disease; and then a pair that contradict each other in the manner of the planet-hymns, the maker of rain and the taker-away of it. Its verse of fruit is unusually specific and unusually worldly: debt does not arise for the one who recites these daily with faith, and wealth comes to him quickly. It closes on the standard Mangala prostration verse, born of the earth's womb, bright as lightning.
