Goddess Lalita

śrī lalitā stotram (sarva devata kṛtam)

(Sri Lalita Stotram Sarva Devata Krtam in English (IAST))

Also known as sarva devata kruta lalitha stotram · shri lalita stotram sarva devata krtam · shree lalita stotram sarva devata krtam

Six verses on the moment of her appearing, rather than on anything she is asked for. A supreme mass of light comes forth, incomparable, bright as a crore of suns and cool as a crore of moons; the verses hold the gods in front of it while they take in what they are seeing. What they say is short, and the last verse says what they do: seeing that great Goddess, all of them together with Vasava bowed again and again to her who is the self of everything. The hymn is the whole of the theophany and none of the sequel, which is what distinguishes it from the longer praises the same gods make elsewhere in the Lalita literature.
