Shri Neela Saraswati Stotram

O Goddess of terrifying form and great roaring sound, who causes fear in all enemies. O Goddess who grants boons to devotees, please protect me who has surrendered to You. (1)

O Goddess worshipped by both Devas and Asuras, and served by Siddhas and Gandharvas. O Goddess who removes dullness and sins, please protect me who has surrendered to You. (2)

O Goddess adorned with matted hair, who brings an end to those with a restless tongue. O Goddess who grants quick intellect, please protect me who has surrendered to You. (3)

O Goddess whose form holds both gentle and angry aspects, salutations to Your fierce form. Salutations to You who are in the form of creation, please protect me who has surrendered to You. (4)

O Goddess who destroys the dullness of the ignorant and is affectionately attached to Her devotees. Please take away my foolishness, O Goddess, and protect me who has surrendered to You. (5)

O Goddess whose form is filled with the sound 'Hum', who loves offerings and sacrifices, salutations to You. O Ugratara (Fierce Tara), constant salutations to You, please protect me who has surrendered to You. (6)

O Goddess, grant me intellect, grant me fame, and grant me poetic skill. O Goddess, please destroy my ignorance, and protect me who has surrendered to You. (7)

O Compassionate Goddess, worshipped by the glorious pairs of deities starting with Indra. O Tara, whose face resembles the Lord of stars (Moon), please protect me who has surrendered to You. (8)

The person who recites this on the eighth, fourteenth, and ninth lunar days, obtains perfection (siddhi) in six months; there is no need to doubt this. (9)

The seeker of liberation attains liberation, the seeker of wealth attains wealth, and the seeker of knowledge attains knowledge, such as logic, grammar, etc. (10)

Whoever recites this hymn constantly, endowed with faith, their enemies face destruction, and great wisdom is born in them. (11)

In pain, in battle, in dullness, in giving charity, and in fear, whoever recites this hymn, auspiciousness will certainly be theirs. (12)

Thus, having bowed down and praised, one should display the Yoni Mudra.
