Om. Salutations. For the great mantra of the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Sahasranama Stotram, Brahma is the seer, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha is the presiding deity, and Anushtup is the meter. Sri Narasimha, the Supreme Self, is the seed; Lakshmi, the illusion, is the power. The individual soul is the seed; intellect is the power. The upward-moving vital air (Udana Vayu) is the seed; Saraswati is the power. The consonants are the seeds; the vowels are the powers. Om Kshraum Hrim are the seeds; Om Shrim Am Aam are the powers. "Vikīrṇanakhadaṃṣṭrāyudhāya" (He whose claws and teeth are his weapons) is the pin (kilaka). "Akārādi" (beginning with the letter A) is the indicator. This is engaged for the recitation of the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Sahasranama Stotram mantra, for the attainment of the grace of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha.
