నవగ్రహ ప్రార్థనా

Three verses, and the first two work by dividing one gift to each planet so that nothing is asked of anyone twice. Let the lotus's friend give health and the cool-rayed one give abundance; let the earth's son give land and Saumya give eloquence furnished with every quality; let the gods' counsellor give good fortune and Bhargava the quelling of fear from enemies; let Arki give courage, let Simhika's son give long life, and let Ketu give fame as wide and as lasting as the moon and the stars. The third verse drops the division and speaks to all nine at once: let misfortunes perish, and evils, and fears; let there be peace, let there be good for me, and let the planets make it auspicious. Short enough to be said in a breath, which is what it is for.
