Sri Rama Shloka Pancharatnam (The Five Jewels of Verses on Sri Rama)

Salutations to Rama, accompanied by Lakshmana, whose eyes are broad like lotus petals, who wears radiant ear-ornaments, who is the vessel of compassion, and who is born in a noble lineage.

Salutations to Rama, accompanied by Lakshmana, whose beautiful form resembles a dark rain-cloud illuminated by lightning, whose noble qualities are extolled by the Vidyadharas, who is an incarnation of valor, and who is the slayer of Viradha (or destroyer of enemies).

Salutations to Rama, accompanied by Lakshmana, who is equipped with divine weapons and the bow, whose weapons removed the pride of the ocean, who is the friend of Sugriva, and who is the destroyer of the enemies of the gods.

Salutations to Rama, accompanied by Lakshmana, whose waist is adorned with yellow silk garments, who is worshipped by Brahma, Indra, and the gods, and who acts as both father and mother to His devotees.

Salutations to You, who are worshipped by the entire universe; salutations to You, whose face resembles the moon. Salutations, again and again, to the descendant of the Raghu dynasty. Salutations to Rama, accompanied by Lakshmana.

Whoever recites these five jewels (verses) during the three junctures of the day (dawn, noon, and dusk), becomes free from all sins and attains the supreme destination.

Thus ends the Sri Rama Shloka Pancharatnam, from the Sri Rama Karnamrita.
