ଶ୍ରୀରାମଚନ୍ଦ୍ର କୃପାଲୁ ଭଜୁ ମନ

O mind, worship compassionate Lord Rama, who removes the terrible fear of worldly existence. His eyes, face, hands and reddish feet are compared to beautiful lotuses.

His beauty surpasses countless forms of Kamadeva. He is dark and lovely like a fresh rain cloud, while his yellow garment shines like lightning. I bow to Rama, the beloved husband of Sita, daughter of King Janaka.

Worship Rama, friend of the helpless and radiant Lord, destroyer of demonic forces; joy of the Raghu lineage, source of bliss, moon of Kosala and son of Dasharatha.

His crown, earrings, tilak and ornaments beautify his noble form. His long arms bear bow and arrows; he is the warrior who defeated Khara and Dushana.

Tulsidas says that Rama delights Shiva, Shesha and the sages. O Rama, dwell in the lotus of my heart and destroy the inner enemies beginning with selfish desire.
