Gurus

śrī sadguruṃcī āratī

(Shree Sadguru Aarti (Phalale Bhagya — Marathi) in English (IAST))

Also known as shree sadguru aarti marathi 2 · sadguru aarti (phalale bhagya — marathi) · phalalem bhagya majhem dhanya jhalom samsari

The third of the Marathi Sadguru aratis, and the one that describes what the waving of the lamp did to the man waving it. My fortune has borne fruit, it opens, I am blessed in this world, the Sadguru met me and took me by the hand. He turned me westward, and on the three peaks I saw Pandhari. After that the verses stop reporting and start failing to report: that happiness I cannot say, speech will not carry it; by the working of this very arati my sense of being an I went away. Entering the shrine the state of the body stops, the mind becomes un-mind, and there is no more talk of bondage; purpose sets like the sun, wordlessness comes over the word, and I stood still, looking at my own nature. Then the arati of the Sadguru is lit inside, and the light grows too great for the sky to hold, and sun and moon go down inside that brightness. Signed Nivritti.
