श्री अनघदेवाष्टोत्तरशतनामावली
(Sri Anagha Deva Ashtottara Shatanamavali)
Also known as shri anagha deva ashtottara shatanamavali · shree anagha deva ashtottara shatanamavali · anagha deva ashtottara shatanamavali
The same hundred and eight names of Dattātreya as Anagha that the stotra gives in verse, set out singly as a litany, each name in the dative between Oṁ and namaḥ so that it can be told on a mālā or used in the offering of flowers. The sequence is unchanged and can be followed against the verse text name for name: Dattātreya, Anagha, the render of the threefold sin, the lord of Anaghā who is Lakṣmī's own form, the master of yoga, the one reached by meditation on the seed drāṃ. From there it moves through the mantras of one syllable, six, eight, twelve and sixteen, through the effects assigned to each seed, and through his forms as child, madman and ghoul, before closing on the offerings and the salutation to the true guru. The verse form of the same list is kept as a separate text.
Script: Devanagari (देवनागरी) — also the script of Hindi, Marathi, Nepali and Konkani.
