Goddess Bagalamukhi

ശ്രീ ബഗലാമുഖീ ദശനാമാത്മക സ്തോത്രമ്

(Sri Bagalamukhi Dasanamatmaka Stotram in Malayalam)

From Rudrayamala Tantra

Also known as shri bagalamukhi dasanamatmaka stotram · shree bagalamukhi dasanamatmaka stotram · bagalamukhi dasanamatmaka stotram

Three verses from the Rudrayamala giving Bagalamukhi ten names, and the list is unusual among such sets because half of it names operations rather than qualities. She is Bagala, the accomplished knowledge, the restrainer of the wicked, the one who paralyses, the one who draws toward, the one who drives away — and then Bhairavi, of terrible eyes, the wife of Mahesha, the auspicious. The rites of the sixfold practice and the epithets of a consort stand in the same breath and the text makes nothing of the difference. The closing verse promises that whoever reads the ten names, or has them read, becomes accomplished in the mantra and like a son of the Goddess upon earth.
