(Sri Bagalashtottara Shatanamavali (Rudrayamala) in Bengali)
Also known as shri bagalashtottara shatanamavali (rudrayamala) · shree bagalashtottara shatanamavali (rudrayamala) · bagalashtottara shatanamavali (rudrayamala)
The Rudrayamala's hundred and eight names set out for worship rather than for reading: each name stands alone in the dative between om and namah, so that a flower or a grain of rice can be offered at every one. The list is the one the stotram beside it carries in verse, and it keeps that list's method, which is identification. She is addressed first as the form of the brahmastra, then as the power of consciousness and the form of knowledge, and from there as Mahalakshmi, Tripurasundari, Bhuvaneshi, Lalita, Bhairavi, Varahi, Chinnamasta, Tara, Kali, Sarasvati and Matangi in turn, with the yellow epithets and the three arresting names set among them. The stotram is the form to read and this is the form to perform; they are one text twice over.
