Goddess Bala Tripurasundari

kālānala taṃtra

(Sri Bala Bhujanga Stotram in English (IAST))

From Kalanala Tantra

Also known as bala bhujangaprayata stotram · kalanala tantra bala stotram · mahatyugra bala

Fifteen verses in the bhujangaprayata metre, from the Kalanala Tantra, and the fiercest of the Bala hymns in this collection — every verse ends on the same line, I worship always that greatly terrible Bala. She is the womb of the world, finely dressed and red, named as beyond the strands, the secret of the great secret, ornamented with great serpents and worshipped by Bhava and the rest. The second verse gives her the colour of great gold, seated on Shiva's back, a garland of great skulls shining at her throat, a great hide for a garment and a great conch in her hand. The closing verse says that one who reads it is called liberated while living, and one who reads it at the three junctures of the day obtains the state of being the goddess's own child.
