ஶ்ரீலக்ஷ்மீசந்த்ரலாம்பாஷ்டோத்தரஶதநாமஸ்தோத்ரம்

A hundred and eight names of Chandralamba, whose shrine is at Sannati on the Bhima in the Kalyana country, and the list is arranged alphabetically: the names run in blocks by initial letter, ka then kha then ga then gha then ca then cha then ja, and so on through the consonants. That ordering is the reason some of them sit oddly together — Kashmiri and Kamarupini beside Kaumodaki and Kaulahantri — since what governs the sequence is the letter rather than the sense. Within it she is given the whole range at once, Shambhavi and Kalaratri and Kapalini, Gayatri seated on Garuda, Chamunda who crushed Munda, four-armed and holding sword and spear, and then the gentler run of names for the destroyer of the three afflictions and the protector of the wretched.
