ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮ್ (ನಾರದ ರಚಿತಮ್)

Narada's hymn, and its first movement is built entirely on one name. I salute him who is Radha's lord, dearer to Radhika than life, whose lotus feet Radha serves, who rests on Radha's breast; who follows Radha, who is Radha's desire, whose mind Radha has carried off; Radha's support, and the world's support, and the support of all. Four verses take that compound as far as it will go, down to his dwelling always in the lotus of her heart and keeping to her command. Then it turns without transition to what the yogis and the perfected ones meditate on — the unqualified brahman, unsmeared and unmoving, the seed of all seeds, the cause of the cause of the Veda. The text calls its speaker a gandharva rather than a sage, and at the end has him fall full length on the earth like a staff.
