(Sri Sowbhagya Lakshmi Stuti in Kannada)
Also known as saubhagya lakshmi stuti · shuddha lakshmyai buddhi lakshmyai · sowbhagya lakshmi stotram
The verse form of the Saubhagya Lakshmi litany, twenty-seven verses long, and it works the same device the namavali does but with the rhythm a metre gives it: four Lakshmis to a line, and the same closing every time. To the Lakshmi of purity, to the Lakshmi of intelligence, to the Lakshmi of boons, salutation upon salutation; salutation to you, Lakshmi of good fortune, Mahalakshmi, salutation upon salutation. The second verse takes the arts — to the Lakshmi of speech, of poetry, of song, of adornment — and the sequence widens from there through every province of a life. The last verse closes it where these lists close: salutation to the Lakshmi of the king of diagrams, to Adilakshmi; salutation to the Lakshmi who is the bliss of brahman.
