॥ ஶ்ரீ ஹநுமாந சாலீஸா ॥

॥ தோஹா ॥
ஶ்ரீ குரு சரண ஸரோஜ ரஜ, நிஜ மநு முகுரு ஸுதாரி।
வரநஊँ ரகுவர விமல ஜஸு, ஜோ தாயகு பல சாரி॥
Having polished the mirror of my heart with the dust of the holy Guru's lotus feet, I narrate the untainted glory of Raghuvar (Shri Ram), which bestows the four fruits of life.
புத்திஹீந தநு ஜாநிகே, ஸுமிரோ பவந குமார।
பல புத்தி வித்யா தேஹு மோஹிம், ஹரஹு கலேஶ விகார॥
Knowing this body to be devoid of wisdom, I remember the Son of the Wind (Hanuman). Grant me strength, intelligence, and knowledge, and remove my sufferings and impurities.
॥ சௌபாஈ॥
ஜய ஹநுமாந ஜ்ஞாந குந ஸாகர। ஜய கபீஸ திஹுँ லோக உஜாகர॥
Victory to Hanuman, the ocean of wisdom and virtues. Victory to the Lord of monkeys, who illuminates the three worlds.
ராம தூத அதுலித பல தாமா। அம்ஜநிபுத்ர பவந ஸுத நாமா॥
The messenger of Rama, the abode of immeasurable strength; known as the son of Anjani and the son of the Wind-god.
மஹாவீர பிக்ரம பஜரம்கீ। குமதி நிவார ஸுமிதி கே ஸம்கீ॥
O Great Hero, possessing immense prowess, whose body is as hard as a thunderbolt. You are the remover of evil thoughts and the companion of those with good wisdom.
கம்சந வரந விராஜ ஸுவேஸா। காநந கும்டல கும்சித கேஸா॥௪॥
Of golden complexion, resplendent in beautiful attire, with earrings in [His] ears and curled hair.
ஹாத பஜ்ர ஔ த்வஜா விராஜை। காँதே மூँஜ ஜநேஊ ஸாஜை॥
In your hand shines the mace and the banner, and on your shoulder rests the sacred thread of munja grass.
ஶம்கர ஸுவந கேஸரீநம்தந। தேஜ ப்ரதாப மஹா ஜக பம்தந॥
Son of Shiva, delight of Kesari. Your immense glory and power are revered by the whole world.
வித்யாவாந குநீ அதி சாதுர। ராம காஜ கரிபே கோ ஆதுர॥
He is wise, virtuous, and extremely clever, always eager to perform tasks for Rama.
ப்ரபு சரித்ர ஸுநிபே கோ ரஸியா। ராம லகந ஸீதா மந பஸியா॥௮॥
(He is) ever eager to hear the exploits of the Lord. Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita reside in his heart.
ஸூக்ஷ்ம ரூப தரி ஸியஹி திகாவா। பிகட ரூப தரி லம்க ஜராவா॥
Assuming a subtle form, you showed yourself to Sita; assuming a terrifying form, you burnt Lanka.
பீம ரூப தரி அஸுர ஸँஹாரே। ராமசம்ந்த்ர கே காஜ ஸँவாரே॥
Assuming the form of Bhima, you destroyed the demons and accomplished the tasks of Ramchandra.
லாய ஸஜீவந லகந ஜியாயே। ஶ்ரீ ரகுபீர ஹரஷி உர லாயே॥
(He) brought the Sanjivani herb and revived Lakshmana; Shri Raghuvira (Rama), overjoyed, embraced him to His heart.
ரகுபதி கீந்ஹீ பஹுத பட़ாஈ। தும மம ப்ரிய பரத ஸம பாஈ॥௧௨॥
Raghupati praised him greatly, saying, "You are as dear to me as my brother Bharat."
ஸஹஸ பதந தும்ஹரோ ஜஸ காவைம்। அஸ கஹி ஶ்ரீபதி கம்ட லகாவைம்॥
A thousand tongues sing your praises. Saying this, the Lord of Lakshmi embraces him.
ஸநகாதிக ப்ரஹ்மாதி முநீஸா। நாரத ஸாரத ஸஹித அஹீஸா॥
Sanak and his brothers, Brahma and the great sages, Narada, Sarada, and the serpent-king Shesha.
ஜம குபேர திகபால ஜஹாँ தே। கபி கோபித கஹி ஸகே கஹாँ தே॥
Where Yama and Kubera, the guardians of the quarters, originate; how could poets and scholars ever hope to describe it?
தும உபகார ஸுக்ரீவஹிம் கீந்ஹா। ராம மிலாய ராஜ பத தீந்ஹா॥௧௬॥
You did a great favor to Sugriva, by uniting him with Rama, you bestowed upon him the throne.
தும்ஹரோ மம்த்ர விபீஷந மாநா। லம்கேஶ்வர பயே ஸப ஜக ஜாநா॥
Vibhishana accepted your counsel, and the whole world knows he became the King of Lanka.
ஜுக ஸஹஸ்த்ர ஜோஜந பர பாநூ। லீல்யோ தாஹி மதுர பல ஜாநூ॥
The sun is at a distance of a thousand yugas and yojanas; thinking it to be a sweet fruit, he swallowed it.
ப்ரபு முத்ரிகா மேலி முக மாஹீம்। ஜலதி லாँகி கயே அசரஜ நாஹீம்॥
Placing the Lord's ring in his mouth, he leaped across the ocean; there is no cause for wonder in this.
து்ர்கம காஜ ஜகத கே ஜேதே। ஸுகம அநுக்ரஹ தும்ஹரே தேதே॥௨௦॥
All the difficult tasks in this world become easy by your grace.
ராம துஆரே தும ரகவாரே। ஹோத ந ஆஜ்ஞா பிநு பைஸாரே॥
You are the guardian at Rama’s door; no one can enter without your permission.
ஸப ஸுக லஹைம் தும்ஹாரீ ஸரநா। தும ரச்சக காஹூ கோ டர நா॥
All happiness is attained by taking refuge in You. You are the protector, there is no fear from anyone.
ஆபந தேஜ ஸம்ஹாரோ ஆபை। தீநோம் லோக ஹாँக தேம் காँபை॥
You alone can contain your own radiance. The three worlds tremble at your roar.
பூத பிஸாச நிகட நஹிம் ஆவை। மஹாவீர ஜப நாம ஸுநாவைம்॥௨௪॥
Ghosts and evil spirits do not come near, when the name of the great warrior (Hanuman) is uttered.
நாஸை ரோக ஹரை ஸப பீரா। ஜபத நிரம்தர ஹநுமத பீரா॥
All diseases are destroyed and all pains are removed, when one chants the name of the brave Hanuman continuously.
ஸம்கட தேம் ஹநுமாந சுட़ாவை। மந க்ரம வசந த்யாந ஜோ லாவை॥
Hanuman delivers one from all distress, who keeps Him in mind, thought, and deed.
ஸப பர ராம தபஸ்வீம் ராஜா। திந கே காஜ ஸகல தும ஸாஜா॥
Lord Rama, the ascetic king, is over all; You have accomplished all His tasks.
ஔர மநோரத ஜோ கோஈ லாவை। ஸோஇ அமித ஜீவந பல பாவை॥௨௮॥
And whatever heart's desire one brings, one obtains the infinite fruit of life.
சாரோம் ஜுக பரதாப தும்ஹாரா। ஹை பரஸித்த ஜகத உஜியாரா॥
Your glory prevails throughout the four ages; your fame is radiant throughout the universe.
ஸாது ஸம்த கே தும ரகபாரே। அஸுர நிகம்தந ராம துலாரே॥
You are the protector of the sages and saints. You are the destroyer of demons, O beloved Rama.
அஷ்ட ஸித்தி நௌ நிதி கே தாதா। அஸ பர தீந ஜாநகீ மாதா॥
You are the bestower of the eight siddhis and nine nidhis; this boon was granted to you by Mother Janaki.
ராம ரஸாயந தும்ஹரே பாஸா। ஸதா ரஹோ ரகுபதி கே தாஸா॥௩௨॥
You possess the elixir of Rama. Always remain a servant of the Lord of the Raghus.
தும்ஹரே பஜந ராம கோ பாவை। ஜநம ஜநம கே துக பிஸராவை॥
By singing Your praises, one attains Rama and forgets the sorrows of countless lifetimes.
அம்த கால ரகுபர புர ஜாஈ। ஜஹாँ ஜந்ம ஹரி பக்த கஹாஈ॥
At the time of death, one goes to the city of Raghubar (Ayodhya), where one is born again and is known as a devotee of Hari.
ஔர தேவதா சித்த ந தரஈ। ஹநுமத ஸேஇ ஸர்ப ஸுக கரஈ॥
Do not keep other deities in your mind; by serving Hanuman, you shall attain all happiness.
ஸம்கட கடை மிடை ஸப பீரா। ஜோ ஸுமிரைம் ஹநுமத பலபீரா॥௩௬॥
All troubles cease and all pain vanishes for those who remember the mighty Hanuman.
ஜை ஜை ஜை ஹநுமாந கோஸாஈம்। க்ரு'பா கரஹு குரூ தேவ கீ நாஈம்॥
Victory, victory, victory to you, O Lord Hanuman. Bestow your grace upon me as a Guru does upon his disciple.
ஜோ ஸத பார பாட கர கோஈ। சூடஹி பந்தி மஹாஸுக ஹோஈ॥
Whoever recites this one hundred times will be freed from bondage and attain supreme bliss.
ஜோ யஹ படை ஹநுமாந சலீஸா। ஹோய ஸித்தி ஸாகீ கௌரீஸா॥
Whoever reads this Hanuman Chalisa, attains success, as witnessed by Lord Shiva.
துலஸீதாஸ ஸதா ஹரி சேரா। கீஜை நாத ஹ்ரு'தய மஹँ டேரா॥௪௦॥
Tulsidas is ever the servant of Hari; O Lord, make Your abode in my heart.
பவநதநய ஸம்கட ஹரந, மம்கல மூரதி ருப।
ராம லகந ஸீதா ஸஹித, ஹ்ரு'தய பஸஹு ஸுர பூப॥
Son of the Wind, remover of distress, embodiment of auspiciousness. Along with Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita, reside in my heart, O King of Gods.
ஸியாவர ராமசம்த்ர கீ ஜய। பவந ஸுத ஹநுமாந கீ ஜய॥ உமாபதி மஹாதேவ கீ ஜய॥
Victory to Sita's consort, Ramchandra. Victory to the son of the Wind-god, Hanuman. Victory to the Lord of Uma, Mahadeva.
ஶ்ரீ ராம ஜய ராம ஜய ஜய ராம। ஶ்ரீ ராம ஜய ராம ஜய ஜய ராம॥
