ಮುಕ್ತಾಮಯಪಞ್ಚದಶಪ್ರಾಕಾರಸ್ಥಿತದಣ್ಡಿನೀವಾರಾಹೀಧ್ಯಾನಮ್

Not praise but architecture — a meditation that locates Vārāhī at a precise address inside Śrīnagara, the city of the goddess described in the Lalitā literature. The reader is taken through the rampart of pearl and then to the emerald wall beyond it, four yojanas high, its gateways and halls inlaid with rows of emerald and its groves of golden palm. In the intermediate quarters of that fifteenth enclosure stand four dwellings of Daṇḍanāthā, laid out along the joints of the Kiricakra, her boar-drawn war chariot. The verses then populate the ground: these are the goddesses who kept watch in the great war against Bhaṇḍāsura, Jambhinī and the wheel-goddesses, the Hetuka Bhairavas, and the seven goddesses of restraint dancing in their intoxication. It is meant to be built in the mind in order, one wall at a time.
