ରାହୁ ଗ୍ରହ ପଞ୍ଚରତ୍ନ ସ୍ତୋତ୍ରମ୍

I bow to Rāhu, of half-body, of great heroism, the oppressor of Moon and Sun, born from the womb of Siṃhikā. (1)

I always bow to Rāhu, of serpentine form, bearing a crown, son of Siṃhikā, of terrible face, the bestower of fearlessness to his devotees. (2)

Seated on a winnow-shaped seat, fond of gomedha (hessonite) ornaments, fond of black gram, son of the sage Kaśyapa, lord of the serpents — (3)

Health, long life, and all my heart's desires — O you of the form of darkness, salutation to you; bestow your grace upon me always. (4)

For his pacification, one should meditate on Rāhu of terrible face, holding sword, shield, and trident, with a gesture of boon-granting, seated on a dark blue throne. (5)
