(Sri Ekanathamci Arati in Bengali)
Also known as shree eknath aarti arati eknatha marathi · shri ekanathamci arati · shree ekanathamci arati
A very short Marathi arati to Eknath, two verses and no more, and it spends both of them on his name rather than on his life. He is greeted as great and capable, the greatest in the three worlds, teacher of the world and its lord; and then the claim the piece exists for: the name Eknath is itself the essence, the secret of the Vedas and the shastras, and the seed of the great mantra, at whose taking the sorrow of worldly life is destroyed. The second verse is quieter and more personal — taking the name Eknath, ease spread through the mind — and closes with the poet saying he is never satisfied however long he sings. Signed Ananta Gopaldas. It is sung in the sequence of aratis to the Varkari saints rather than on its own.
