Lord Vishnu

jaya jaya śrī badarīnātha

(Shri Badrinath Ji Ki Aarti in English (IAST))

Also known as sri badrinath ji ki aarti · shree badrinath ji ki aarti · badrinath ji ki aarti

A Hindi arati to Badrinath, its refrain hailing him as one absorbed in the yoga of meditation — which is the form the shrine keeps, the Lord seated in penance rather than reclining or striding. The verses are short paired lines: without qualities and with them, the colour of a rain cloud and beyond comparison; good kings serving at his feet; known to those who know and to those who know beyond knowing. The later lines turn from description to the relation itself, calling him the guardian of those who bow, exceedingly merciful, the giver of ease to his servants. Eleven lines in all, in the plain register of an arati sung in the temple rather than of a composed stotra.
