(Shri Bhadrambika Ashtottara Shatanamavali in Gujarati)
Also known as sri bhadrambika ashtottara shatanamavali · shree bhadrambika ashtottara shatanamavali · bhadrambika ashtottara shatanamavali
A hundred and eight names of Bhadrambika, written out in blocks of twenty and closed under her fuller name, Bhadrakalikamba. The list moves outward from the household names of the mountain's daughter — Parvati, Uma, Girija, Mena's child, Aparna — into the great southern shrines, so that one goddess is saluted as Minakshi, as Kamakshi and Kamakoti, as Vishalakshi, as Jnanaprasunambika, as Annapurna, as Sharada and as Ganga. Between them she is the crusher of Mahisha, swan-gaited, smiling like jasmine, her hair full of bees. The closing run turns to the powers — will, knowledge and action, and the five elements — and ends by naming the Mother goddesses Kaumari, Varahi and Brahmani.
