śrīhanumatsaṃstavaḥ (āpaṭīkaraviracitaḥ)

You leapt the great ocean in play; you consoled the daughter of the earth in her grief; you burnt the Lanka of the lord of demons; such was the service you did your master. No wind is equal to your speed, nor the mind of men, and it was for the saving of Sumitra's son's life that you tore off the peak of the mountain-lord and carried it. Where it goes from there is unusual for a stotra: your service is the most generous there is, and Ramachandra was pleased by you alone — you are the model set before men, and the leader of all who worship strength. It closes by promising the reciter that his sorrows will be brought to nothing.
