ଶ୍ରୀ ଦକ୍ଷିଣକାଲୀ କଵଚମ୍

A short armour from the Kalikulasarvasva Tantra, and its frame is the most forceful in this cluster. The Kalika Mahavidya has been told, the asker says, and still there is a thorn left in the heart; and then, plainly, tell me the armour, Mother, or I shall give up this body. The teaching is extracted rather than granted. Fifteen verses follow, covering the limbs in the ordinary way with a deity set on each, including the seat of generation, which the text names without ceremony. The closing verse makes the modest claim these armours usually make: wherever the man covered by it goes, there he is without fear, and no disturbance is found anywhere at all.
