(Sri Kalabhairava Kakara Ashtottara Shatanamavali in Odia)
Also known as shri kalabhairava kakara ashtottara shatanamavali · shree kalabhairava kakara ashtottara shatanamavali · kalabhairava kakara ashtottara shatanamavali
The kakārādi hundred and eight of Kālabhairava as a litany, opening on the four seeds hrīṁ krīṁ hūṁ hrīṁ and then giving each ka-name singly with its salutation. Because the constraint is alphabetical the list has to reach the whole god through one letter, and the strain shows in the best of it: Kālakāla and Kāladaṇḍadhṛt for time, Kukkurārūḍha for the dog he rides, Kapālin and Kaṅkālamālikādhārin for the skull and the garland of bones, Kālanemighna for the demon he killed, Kāmāri for the enemy of desire, Kārāgṛhavimocaka for the releaser from prison, and Karmabandhākhilacchedin for the cutter of every bond of action. Toward the end it turns openly to the left-hand tradition, naming him founder of the Kaula path, devoted to Kaula observance, and fond of the new moon and the eighth. A second recension of the same list is kept separately.
