ଶ୍ରୀକାଲୀରହସ୍ଯେ ବ୍ରହ୍ମକୃତଂ ଶ୍ରୀକାଲୀସ୍ତୁତିଃ

Fifteen verses ascribed to Brahma in the Kali Rahasya, and every line of them ends in the same case and the same sound, so that the whole reads as one long chiming sentence rather than as fifteen separate ones. It opens by naming her Krishna's own form and the bearer of the dark slender body, then the whole ocean of principles and the shoreless deep. What follows sets bright against dark and does not resolve them: she is the radiance of Shiva and flashes with the moon at her crest, a sun to the jewel on her brow and a sun that lights the world — and she is the dweller in the cremation ground, the night of the darkness of tamas, the lover of Shiva's own nature. Those who recite it, the last verse says, do not fall again into the pit of delusion.
