શ્રી લલિતાષ્ટોત્તરશતનામાવલી ૨
(Sri Lalitha Ashtottara Shatanamavali 2 in Gujarati)
Also known as shri lalitha ashtottara shatanamavali 2 · shree lalitha ashtottara shatanamavali 2 · lalitha ashtottara shatanamavali 2
A hundred and eight names of Lalita in salutation form. The same set stands in this corpus as a continuous hymn under the title Lalita Ashtottarashatanama Stotram, and the two are one text in two shapes. The list opens on the plainest names the Goddess has — Shiva, Bhavani, Kalyani, Gauri, Kali, Katyayani, Durga, Arya, Chandika — and lengthens as it goes, closing on compounds that take a whole line each. Two names near the end set the two observances of the Shrividya side by side without comment: she is called the one whose conduct is the samaya, and immediately after, the Kaulini and the deity of the kula. The last name of all makes her the sovereignty itself of the city that stands over the Shrichakra.
