(Dvadasha Stotra in Assamese)

Madhvacharya

Also known as atha dvadasastotram

Composed by the great Dvaita philosopher Acharya Madhva, the Dvadasha Stotra consists of twelve hymns dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Legend states that Madhvacharya composed these verses spontaneously while installing the idol of Krishna at Udupi. The stotra reflects the essence of Tattvavada philosophy, highlighting the infinite attributes and supreme lordship of Vishnu. It is considered a deeply profound work of devotional literature. Chanting these twelve hymns is believed to bestow spiritual wisdom, liberation from the cycle of rebirth, and the grace of the Supreme Lord, fostering a spirit of surrender and inner peace.
