ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಾನುಸ್ಮೃತಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮ್

Sixteen verses of remembrance, and the last of them fixes the hour: this is to be repeated in the last watch of the night with the mind gathered, and one who does so is loosed from death and poverty and sin. What is remembered is chiefly the look of him — lovely of face and pure of smile, with the beauty of a crore of Kamas; the shining crown, the armlets, the girdle at the waist, the wide eyes, the bright earrings red as the young sun. Nothing in the sixteen argues anything or tells any part of the story. It is a form assembled piece by piece for somebody to hold in mind before dawn, and it stops when the form is complete.
