The salutation form of the hundred and eight names of the Boar that also stand here as a stotra in verse. Set out one to a line, the list reads as a small theology laid end to end. He is the ender of Hiranyaksha, the god whose body is the six perfections entire, who sports in the ocean of dissolution and is bent on the good of every living thing. The middle run gives him everything to do with the Veda — its eye, the taker of the head of the one who stole it, knower of its end, its secret, the setter of the whole of it in motion. The close is a run on the word for all: the end of all, the goer everywhere, the giver of everything. The last names give him a shrine, naming him the lord of Shrimushnam.
