హనుమద్ధ్యానమ్

Twenty verses of meditation, and the Hanuman in them is not the one of the Ramayana but the many-armed figure of the tantras. Salutation to the body that is the three gods at once; to the one who plays on the Reva river; to the bearer of a thousand arms; to the five-faced form taken on for the killing of the ten-faced; to the six-faced form taken on at the hour of killing Karkati; to the husband of Suvarchala; to the bearer of Rama's signet; to the dweller in Brahma's world; to the twenty-armed whose self is Rudra, the wholly independent god who carries every kind of weapon. Its last verse simply inventories them, eighteen arms and what is in each: spear, noose and lance, axe, plough, javelin, shield, conch, discus, trident, pestle, mace, sword-blade, hammer, the Gandiva bow, a lotus, and a sword.
