ଶ୍ରୀ ରାମ ସ୍ତୋତ୍ରମ୍ (ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର କୃତମ୍)

Ten verses spoken by Indra in the same canto of the Adhyatma Ramayana as the praise of Brahma that also stands in this corpus, and the two are easiest to tell apart by their sound. Indra's is built on a single syllable: I worship Rama always, dark as a blue lotus, whose very name is a forest-fire to the wilderness of becoming, whose form of bliss is contemplated in Bhavani's heart, the cause of becoming and of its ending, resorted to from the first — nearly every stressed word in that verse begins on bha. What it says of him it says twice over each time: the one cause of the ending of the flood of the gods' misery, whose body is of human shape and who is himself without form, the supreme lord and the supreme joy.
