লঘু বারাহী স্তোত্রম্

The short form of the Bṛhad Vārāhī Stotra, and the difference between them is more than length. Where the long version opens with a full viniyoga, this begins directly at the meditation, and the image is simplified: dark, three-eyed, hands in the gestures of boon and safety, holding the mace and the pestle, fond of her devotees. The hymn itself is plainer still, and the second verse abandons epithets for the most direct address in the whole Vārāhī group — protect me, Vārāhī; you are my mother, you are my father, you are everything that is mine. The terms are correspondingly modest: where the long version asks for a year of recitation, this asks for a month of dawns and offers freedom from the fear of enemies rather than mastery of every attainment.
