Shiva Gayatri: Om — we know the Supreme Person (Tatpurusha); we meditate on Mahadeva (the Great God). May Rudra inspire and illuminate us.

Ganapati Gayatri: Om — we know the Supreme Person; we meditate on Vakratunda (the curved-trunk one). May the tusked lord (Danti) inspire and illuminate us.

Nandi Gayatri: Om — we know the Supreme Person; we meditate on Chakratunda (the wheel-snouted one). May Nandi inspire and illuminate us.

Subrahmanya Gayatri: Om — we know the Supreme Person; we meditate on Mahasena (the great commander). May the six-faced lord (Shanmukha) inspire and illuminate us.

Garuda Gayatri: Om — we know the Supreme Person; we meditate on the golden-winged one (Suvarnna Paksha). May Garuda inspire and illuminate us.

Brahma Gayatri: Om — we know the self of the Vedas (Vedatma); we meditate on Hiranyagarbha (the golden womb of creation). May Brahma inspire and illuminate us.

Vishnu Gayatri: Om — we know Narayana (the all-pervading one); we meditate on Vasudeva (the indwelling lord). May Vishnu inspire and illuminate us.

Sri Lakshmi Gayatri: Om — we know the great goddess (Mahadevi); we meditate on the consort of Vishnu (Vishnupatni). May Lakshmi inspire and illuminate us.

Narasimha Gayatri: Om — we know the one with thunderbolt nails (Vajranakha); we meditate on the one with sharp fangs (Tikshnadamshtra). May Narasimha inspire and illuminate us.

Surya Gayatri: Om — we know Bhaskara (the sun, maker of light); we meditate on the great radiance-giver (Mahaddyutikara). May Aditya inspire and illuminate us.

Agni Gayatri: Om — we know Vaishvanara (the universal fire); we meditate on the flaming one (Lalilaya). May Agni inspire and illuminate us.

Durga Gayatri: Om — we know Katyayana (daughter of sage Katyayana); we meditate on Kanyakumari (the eternal virgin goddess). May Durgi inspire and illuminate us.
