Goddess Durga

śivarahasye śrī durgā stotram

(Sri Durga Stotram (Shiva Rahasya) in English (IAST))

From Shiva Rahasya

Also known as shri durga stotram (shiva rahasya) · shree durga stotram (shiva rahasya) · durga stotram (shiva rahasya)

Five verses from the Shiva Rahasya, each a chain of names ending in a bow, and each bow given to a different one of the names. The first calls her Durga, Shiva, maker of peace, Brahmani beloved of Brahma and leader of all the worlds, and salutes Sadashiva; the second, auspicious and pure, without parts, the supreme kala and mother of the universe, salutes Chandika; the third, made of all the gods and remover of every disease and fear, salutes Uma; the fourth places her in the Vindhya hills as Yogini and mother of yoga; and the fifth calls her the mother of Ishana and the one who carries a man across the ocean of birth. A closing verse says that whoever reads it, or only hears it, is freed of his sins and rejoices in her company.
