(Sri Parvati Panchakam (2) in Telugu)
Also known as shri parvati panchakam (2) · shree parvati panchakam (2) · parvati panchakam (2)
A second Parvati Panchakam, and the record holds only the first of its five verses — the source supplied one verse with a Hindi paraphrase and nothing more, so what is here is a fragment rather than a short hymn. What that verse gives is worth having: gladdened by the delight of her devotees, her heart bright with the rising of compassion, and in the same breath terrible and blood-red in the tearing apart of the arrogance of Shumbha and Nishumbha, adorned with a circle of unbroken severed heads, shining with the mass of the rays of the fierce-rayed sun. The four verses that would complete it are not in the record.
