Goddess Radha

śrī rādhā stotram (vyāsakṛtam)

(Sri Radha Stotram (Vyasa Kritam) in English (IAST))

Sri Vyasa

Also known as sri radha stotram divine hymn · shri radha stotram divine hymn · shree radha stotram divine hymn

Attributed to Vyāsa and placed in the Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa, this is the best known of the Rādhā hymns and the simplest in construction: every verse names places or faculties and puts Rādhā in each of them, then closes on the same line — Rādhā alone is worshipped by me. In the house Rādhā, in the forest Rādhā, Rādhā behind and standing in front; wherever Rādhā is, there Rādhā alone is worshipped by me. On the tongue Rādhā, in the ears Rādhā, Rādhā in the eyes and seated in the heart. Worship is Rādhā, the muttered prayer is Rādhā, Rādhikā is the act of bowing. In song Rādhā, in virtue Rādhā, in eating and in going. By night Rādhā, by day Rādhā. The effect of the repetition is deliberate, and the closing verse turns it around: Kṛṣṇa's mind is worshipped by her as hers is by him.
