ಶ್ರೀಶ್ರೀವಿದ್ಯಾಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮ್ (ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಪುಷ್ಪಾ ಕೃತ)

A hymn to Śrīvidyā signed by a disciple named Puṣpā, opening with a verse in the shape of a Gāyatrī — we know Śrīvidyā, we meditate on the seed of the primal sound, may that power impel us. The verses that follow are strongly alliterative, each holding to a single sound through its whole length, and the sequence works through the goddess's names by that means: worshipped by the seed hrīṁ, dweller on the great Meru, the sixteen-syllabled knowledge; then a verse entirely in ṣ, naming her as worshipped by the Ṣoḍaśī, as the Ṣoḍaśī mantra embodied, and as a garland of sixteen hymns; then one in n for nāda, bindu and the nine enclosures; then one in v where every word begins from the vīṇā — fond of its music, sweet-voiced in it, dissolving into its song. It closes by being offered to the teacher rather than to the goddess.
