śrīvaibhavalakṣmī arcanā (mahālakṣmīstavam)

The hymn recited in the Vaibhava Lakshmi worship, and built for exactly that use: every single line is one epithet followed by the same four words, Mahalakshmi, salutation to you, so that a room can say it together without a book. The first lines refuse to keep her separate from the other goddesses — Parvati, Sarasvati, Mahalakshmi, salutation to you; beloved of Vishnu, great maya, Mahalakshmi, salutation to you. The second run gives her Durga's deeds outright: slayer of Mahishasura, router of Madhu and Kaitabha, holding conch and discus and mace, dwelling in Vaikuntha's heart. The last lines return to the arts — fond of dance, Lakshmi of dance, whose form is the sixty-four arts — and close on all-auspiciousness.
