ଆଞ୍ଜନେଯ ଭୁଜଙ୍ଗ ପ୍ରଯାତ ସ୍ତୋତ୍ରମ୍

I worship the Son of the Wind, whose body is anointed with pleasing fragrances and shines like molten gold; whose valor strikes fear into the world, whose patience is like the snowy mountains, to whom all weapons are like mere straw, whose glory shines in the battlefield, and who is the pure and trusted friend of all.

I worship the One who is holy and constantly dwells in the hearts of devotees; I worship the One whose face shines like the brilliance of the rising sun; I worship the One whose smile is as gentle and bright as the moonlight, the jasmine flower, and the Mandara bloom; I worship the eternal servant of King Rama.

I worship the One who is extremely skilled in saving the life of Lakshmana; I worship the One who brings joy to the divine beings; I worship the One who remained invincible on the fearful battlefield; I worship the One who finds protection through the constant chanting of the name of Rama.

I worship the messenger of Rama, who places his feet upon the earth with a frightening impact, whose presence creates a dark swarm of shadows, who possesses strong thighs and legs, whose hair fills the sky, who embraces mountains, and who is accompanied by the goddess of victory.

I worship the Lord Anjaneya, whose body is like diamond, who swings his tail, causing the very heavens to revolve; whose loud laughter shatters the cosmic egg, and whose lion-like roar strikes terror throughout the three worlds.

I praise Hanuman, who moves fearfully across the battlefield amidst the roaring clouds, filled with righteous rage, challenging the foremost of enemies, leaping across the paths of birds, clouds, and celestial beings.

I worship the tawny-eyed Lord, whose heavy impact is like the thunderbolt of Indra, whose teeth destroy even the terrible teeth of Time, whose footfall strikes fear into the ocean, and who is highly skilled in the art of war.

O foremost of monkeys, dear to Rama, I bow to you; may your lotus-like feet, to which I am devoted, remove the afflictions of great distress, grave calamities, serious illnesses, and intense pain.

O compassionate Lord Hanuman, I am heavily burdened by the frailty of old age and suffering in this body; please grant me deep devotion and intense love for your lotus feet, as you are the refuge of the helpless and the source of great glory.

Even the great yogis like Brahma and Rudra do not fully comprehend the essence of Rama; how then can one like me ever know it? O Lord of the monkeys, be pleased with me and accept my humble salutations.

Salutations to You, who possess the strength of the great beings. Salutations to You, whose body is as hard and impenetrable as the diamond. Salutations to You, who have surpassed even the brilliance of the sun. Salutations to You, who have accomplished the divine tasks of the immortals.

Salutations to You, who are the eternal embodiment of celibacy. Salutations to You, the eternal son of the Wind God (Vayu). Salutations to You, who have golden-hued eyes. Salutations to You, who are the eternal and foremost devotee of Lord Rama.

A mortal who recites this "Hanumat Bhujanga Prayata Stotram" at dawn, at dusk, or even at midnight, even while engaged in daily activities, shall be liberated from the web of all sins and shall attain the eternal and unwavering devotion of Lord Rama.
