મહાશાસ્તા મહાદેવો મહાદેવસુતોઽવ્યયઃ ।
લોકકર્તા લોકભર્તા લોકહર્તા પરાત્પરઃ ॥ 1 ॥
He is the Great Ruler, the Great God, the imperishable son of Lord Shiva. He is the creator of the worlds, the protector of the worlds, the destroyer of the worlds, and the one who is beyond the highest.
ત્રિલોકરક્ષકો ધન્વી તપસ્વી ભૂતસૈનિકઃ ।
મન્ત્રવેદી મહાવેદી મારુતો જગદીશ્વરઃ ॥ 2 ॥
He is the protector of the three worlds, the wielder of the bow, the ascetic, and the commander of the elemental spirits. He is the knower of all mantras, the great knower of the sacrificial rites, the embodiment of the wind, and the Lord of the universe.
લોકાધ્યક્ષોઽગ્રણીઃ શ્રીમાનપ્રમેયપરાક્રમઃ ।
સિંહારૂઢો ગજારૂઢો હયારૂઢો મહેશ્વરઃ ॥ 3 ॥
He is the presiding deity of the worlds, the foremost leader, the possessor of wealth, and the one of immeasurable prowess. He is the Great Lord who rides upon lions, elephants, and horses.
નાનાશસ્ત્રધરોઽનર્ઘો નાનાવિદ્યાવિશારદઃ ।
નાનારૂપધરો વીરો નાનાપ્રાણિનિષેવિતઃ ॥ 4 ॥
He carries various weapons, is invaluable, and is an expert in all branches of knowledge. He assumes various forms, is the embodiment of valor, and is served by all living beings.
ભૂતેશો ભૂતિતો ભૃત્યો ભુજઙ્ગાભરણોજ્વલઃ ।
ઇક્ષુધન્વી પુષ્પબાણો મહારૂપો મહાપ્રભુઃ ॥ 5 ॥
He is the Lord of all elements, the source of prosperity, the servant of his devotees, and he shines with ornaments made of serpents. He holds the sugarcane bow and flower arrows, possesses a majestic form, and is the supreme Lord.
માયાદેવીસુતો માન્યો મહનીયો મહાગુણઃ ।
મહાશૈવો મહારુદ્રો વૈષ્ણવો વિષ્ણુપૂજકઃ ॥ 6 ॥
He is the son of the Goddess Maya, is worthy of honor, is highly commendable, and possesses great virtues. He is the greatest devotee of Shiva, the Great Rudra, the follower of Vishnu, and the worshiper of Lord Vishnu.
વિઘ્નેશો વીરભદ્રેશો ભૈરવો ષણ્મુખપ્રિયઃ ।
મેરુશૃઙ્ગસમાસીનો મુનિસઙ્ઘનિષેવિતઃ ॥ 7 ॥
He is the Lord of obstacles, the Lord of Veerabhadra, the fearsome Bhairava, and the beloved of Lord Shanmukha (Kartikeya). He resides on the peak of Mount Meru and is served by assemblies of sages.
દેવો ભદ્રો જગન્નાથો ગણનાથો ગણેશ્વરઃ ।
મહાયોગી મહામાયી મહાજ્ઞાની મહાસ્થિરઃ ॥ 8 ॥
He is the Divine, the auspicious one, the Lord of the world, the Lord of the hosts (Ganas), and the chief of the celestial groups. He is the Great Yogi, the master of great illusions, the possessor of infinite wisdom, and the one who is eternally steadfast.
દેવશાસ્તા ભૂતશાસ્તા ભીમહાસપરાક્રમઃ ।
નાગહારો નાગકેશો વ્યોમકેશઃ સનાતનઃ ॥ 9 ॥
He is the teacher of the gods, the ruler of all beings, and possesses a terrifying and mighty prowess. He wears serpents as garlands, has serpents as his hair, is adorned with the sky as his hair, and is eternal.
સગુણો નિર્ગુણો નિત્યો નિત્યતૃપ્તો નિરાશ્રયઃ ।
લોકાશ્રયો ગણાધીશશ્ચતુષ્ષષ્ટિકલામયઃ ॥ 10 ॥
He is with attributes and without attributes, eternal, eternally satisfied, and has no support other than himself. He is the refuge of the worlds, the Lord of the Ganas, and the embodiment of the sixty-four arts.
ઋગ્યજુઃસામથર્વાત્મા મલ્લકાસુરભઞ્જનઃ ।
ત્રિમૂર્તિ દૈત્યમથનઃ પ્રકૃતિઃ પુરુષોત્તમઃ ॥ 11 ॥
He is the embodiment of the four Vedas—Rig, Yajur, Sama, and Atharva—and the destroyer of the demon Mallakasura. He is the destroyer of the demonic forces of the Trinity and the supreme primordial spirit (Purushottama) who transcends nature.
કાલજ્ઞાની મહાજ્ઞાની કામદઃ કમલેક્ષણઃ ।
કલ્પવૃક્ષો મહાવૃક્ષો વિદ્યાવૃક્ષો વિભૂતિદઃ ॥ 12 ॥
He is the knower of time and the possessor of infinite wisdom; he is the fulfiller of desires and has eyes as beautiful as lotus petals. He is like the wish-fulfilling Kalpavriksha tree, the great cosmic tree, and the tree of knowledge, bestowing divine glory and prosperity upon his devotees.
સંસારતાપવિચ્છેત્તા પશુલોકભયઙ્કરઃ ।
રોગહન્તા પ્રાણદાતા પરગર્વવિભઞ્જનઃ ॥ 13 ॥
He is the one who severs the miseries of worldly existence and strikes fear into those who are shackled by worldly attachments. He is the destroyer of diseases, the giver of life, and the one who humbles the pride of those who are arrogant.
સર્વશાસ્ત્રાર્થતત્વજ્ઞો નીતિમાન્ પાપભઞ્જનઃ ।
પુષ્કલાપૂર્ણાસંયુક્તઃ પરમાત્મા સતાઙ્ગતિઃ ॥ 14 ॥
He is the knower of the essence of all scriptures, the one who embodies righteousness, and the destroyer of all sins. He is accompanied by his consorts Pushkala and Poorna, and he is the Supreme Soul who serves as the ultimate refuge for the virtuous.
અનન્તાદિત્યસઙ્કાશઃ સુબ્રહ્મણ્યાનુજો બલી ।
ભક્તાનુકમ્પી દેવેશો ભગવાન્ ભક્તવત્સલઃ ॥ 15 ॥
He shines with the brilliance of infinite suns and is the younger brother of Lord Subrahmanya, possessing immense strength. He is compassionate toward his devotees, the Lord of all gods, and the Divine One who is ever devoted to his followers.
