പൂര്ണകുമ്ഭ മന്ത്രഃ

Not by actions, not by progeny, nor by wealth, but by renunciation alone have some attained immortality. That which shines brilliantly beyond the highest heaven, hidden in the cave of the heart — into That the ascetics enter.

Those ascetics of purified being, who have firmly ascertained the truth through the knowledge of Vedānta and the yoga of renunciation — they all, in the world of Brahman, at the final end of time, are wholly liberated, passing beyond even that supreme immortality.

That small, sinless lotus of the heart — the supreme abode of the Divine — is situated in the center of this city, the body. Within that lotus is a subtle, sorrowless space; and that which abides within that space is what should be meditated upon.

That sacred syllable (Om), proclaimed at the very beginning of the Vedas and firmly established at their end (the Upaniṣads) — He who is the Supreme beyond that syllable, which itself dissolves into prakṛti (primordial nature), is Maheśvara, the Great Lord.
