It is a waking song and says so — the night of delusion is over, day has come, and the auspicious form of Nandlal rises. Six pads make it up, and they carry the names of two of the eight seal poets of the Pushtimarga, Chaturbhuj Das in the first and Paramananda Das in three of the others. It is the counterpart of the bedtime aarti, sung at the first opening of the shrine rather than at the last closing of it.
