Samartha Ramdas

శ్రీరామదాసాంచీ ఆరతీ

(Shree Ramdas Aarti (Marathi) in Telugu)

Also known as ramdas aarti (marathi) · marathi aarti · aarti marathi

A Marathi arati to Samartha Ramdas that opens by claiming a descent for him: the sun of knowledge has risen and lit up the light, and Maruti, who is himself the incarnation of Shankara, became in the age of Kali the form of Ramdas. What follows is what he made and whom he saved — the Dasbodh in its twenty tens, the raising up of dull and burdened creatures, and the saving of King Shiva, which is how the song names Shivaji. Then his vow of celibacy, and his seeing of the whole created world as Rama's own form. It closes on the welfare of the three worlds and on the feet of the true teacher whom it calls Samartha, the capable one.
