ଶ୍ରୀହନୁମତ୍ସ୍ତୋତ୍ରମ୍ (ସର୍ଵସୁଖାଵହମ୍)

Maheshvara tells it to the Goddess, and it is the second of the two Uma Samhita texts here built on very nearly the same verses — the companion piece announces itself as taking away all fear, and this one as bringing all happiness. What distinguishes this recension is that it arranges the forms by the length of the mantra each belongs to. First the body like heated gold, bright with many flowers, the face like the young sun rising, three-eyed, a munja girdle and a golden thread, holding a chisel and the lord of mountains. Then the form that stands in the three-syllable mantra, the colour of a hibiscus. Then the one in the five syllables, dark as a blue rain-cloud. Then the one joined to six syllables, bright as an unmoving mountain. Its last two verses change metre and close on the ankle-bells at his crown.
