(Shri Kamakala Kali Sahasranamavali in Tamil)
Also known as sri kamakala kali sahasranamavali · shree kamakala kali sahasranamavali · kamakala kali sahasranamavali
A thousand names of Kamakala Kali from the twelfth chapter of the Kamakala section of the Mahakala Samhita, set out one to a salutation. The viniyoga before them is unusually full, naming Tripuraghna as the seer and giving four separate elements where most such texts give three — klim for the seed, sphrom for the power, hum for the pin, and kshraum for the principle. The list opens on a long run in ka: Kalaratri, Kapalini, Katyayani, Kalyani, she whose very form is time, the gaping one — then fierce of form, greatly terrible, of dreadful cry, the maker of fear — and then, with no turn at all, the giver of prosperity, the ender of fear, and the loosener of the bonds of becoming.
