Goddess Kamalatmika

श्रीकमला कमलात्मिका ध्यानम्

(Shri Kamala Kamalatmika Dhyanam)

Also known as kamalatmika dhyanam · kamala dhyana shlokas · gajalakshmi dhyanam

Five meditation verses on Kamalatmika, the tenth of the Mahavidyas, who is Lakshmi in that company — and all five are versions of a single image, the Gajalakshmi bathing. The first has her golden in colour, being bathed by four elephants white as the snow mountain who lift golden pots of nectar in their trunks, holding the boon, a pair of lotuses and the gesture of fearlessness, bright with a crown, bound in silk. The second sets her light like a ruby among the same four tall snow-white elephants, this time with jewelled pots, and calls her the beloved of Hari who desires the parijata. The last shows her with the light of the young sun, a crescent flashing in her crown, and holding, besides the lotus and the Kaustubha gem, a spray of rice.
